Hey. I'm Daphne — and Closet Rebel exists because somewhere along the way, women in my generation got handed a really small box.

Here's what was supposed to be in it: beige. Sensible. Slimming. "Age appropriate." Comfortable shoes, but not the fun kind. Hide the arms. Don't show too much chest. Don't draw attention. Don't be too colorful, too loud, too much.

Here's what wasn't in it: us.

Who Closet Rebel is for

Gen X women. Older. Plus size welcome and centered. Women in midlife who are done shrinking. Women who realized somewhere around 42 that "rules" were just other people's preferences with a marketing budget.
